Paint chip sampling removes a small sample of every paint layer down to the substrate and sends it to an accredited laboratory for analysis. It is used to confirm inconclusive XRF readings, test surfaces an XRF analyzer cannot read reliably (such as curved or small components), and provide laboratory documentation when an owner, buyer or agency requests it. Exit Lead collects samples carefully, patches sample locations, and delivers lab results with a clear explanation.
